Dr. Carlton is a world class environmental scientist with deep science and engineering experience in academia & government.


Emissions from human activity and their chemical transformation in the atmosphere drive air quality & climate change. We conduct and organize modeling, field & laboratory studies to investigate biosphere-atmosphere-hydrosphere interactions with the ultimate goal of informing policymakers so society can develop effective strategies to protect human health, ecosystems, agricultural economies & security.
